Website Redesign
Magnet wanted their website to be an engine for all of their business, but users were finding it difficult to navigate. To expand their product offering to match their growing business, they would need a partner to help unite their brand and take their presence to the next level.
All of the pages for Magnet’s existing website were unique, with no repeat styling and an unclear value proposition.
The complexity had made it difficult for their internal teams to take control and manage their product offerings, whilst leaving users unsure of which products should be used in which context.
Our team began by conducting stakeholder interviews with Magnet personnel to understand the problems that were being faced internally. Surveys with subject matter experts helped us to define three clear user personas to use for journey mapping.
We expanded on these findings to create wireframes for the web pages, and used Invision Prototype to conduct three different usability tests, evaluating the user’s understanding of the information architecture.
By embarking on a complete brand identity audit, we identified key visuals to curate a whole new design system, and bring clear cohesion to the UX.
Implementing a simpler modular component library to build out the site meant that marketers could easily add and adapt pages, without compromising run speeds.
We were able to remove the restrictions of a complex infrastructure, giving Magnets marketing team the ability to create new pages and roll out daily content.Â
Armed with clear branding and improved usability, the new website increased click throughs to “Try Magnet AXIOM” from 2470 pre-launch to 2978 post-launch, whilst both the blog and resources saw a significant increase in time-on-page.
‍
Magnet valued having one partner who could tackle all of their project needs, resulting in efficient management and a more cohesive product. By creating ample triggers to properly track every user step, Magnet can now study these analytics and monitor which areas of their site might need future adjustment.
