Sessionz is a mobile application that helps people book one-to-one time with experts, trainers, and teachers to learn new skills from inspiring mentors. The founder wanted to launch an MVP of their iOS app with the ability for users to search, book and pay for sessions, whilst allowing teachers to list sessions, manage their availability, accept requests, and get paid.

The Sessionz founder needed to build out an MVP to begin product testing, validate the business model and raise funds to jump start the business. We needed to capture the founder's vision and build an MVP that had the flexibility to continuously evolve as user feedback came in.
With no internal technical team, Sessionz required a partner with a strong product development background who could act as the product owner.
We needed to execute within tight time and budget constraints to design and develop a marketing website that could promote the MVP and create a stronger digital presence for the brand.
To develop the MVP, we implemented an extensible back-end platform using Laravel, and created a robust CMS to manage new users, payments, and refunds.
We integrated the platform with Stripe to collect payments, and Stripe Connect for user-to-user payments. To handle analytics and push notifications we utilized MixPanel and Google Firebase.
Our developers created a separate back-end, front-end, and API that powered the application and used a cutting edge tech stack for the hybrid Mobile application.
To give a stronger digital presence, we created a marketing website where the main call to action was for users to download the iOS app or sign up to be notified about the launch of the Android app.
Partnering with Crowdlinker meant that the Sessionz leadership team could narrow down the scope of their MVP, strategize on product vision, and take their concept to production.
We provided Sessionz with the support they needed to develop their MVP and contributed marketing support throughout the launch phase.
Post-launch, we continued our engagement for several other phases. From researching and testing with users in the market, to planning the future product roadmap. By tracking metrics we were able to continue learning and improving applications to help Sessionz find product-market fit.
